I wasn’t able to go climbing this Tuesday since I had a prior commitment, so I felt like I needed to go hard since the last time I had climbed was last Saturday. Today was a much better climb than my last few sessions. I’m still not feeling as confident as I did around mid-late January, but this was definitely a session in the right direction.

Here are my stats for the day:

Warmup 10 pull-ups
Training
Grade Outcome Points
V0 ✓✓✓ 1.5
V1 0
V2 ✓✓ 4
V3 3
V4 ✓✓✓✓✓✓ 24
V5 ½ ½ ×× 7
V6 0
TOTAL 39.5
Cooldown 50 abs
20 biceps
10 biceps
Recap 13 sends, 2 failures

2018 YTD

  • 187 sends (+13)
  • 65 failures (+2)
  • 405 pull-ups (+10)
  • 115 pushups
  • 147 biceps (+30)
  • 12 triceps
  • 100 forearms
  • 40 shoulders
  • 100 squats
  • 1 peg / campus / hang board
  • 515 ab reps (+50)

The 1/2s today were on the same blue V5 that has been absolutely crushing me at FA Uptown. I can get the second half consistently but the first half is really tough for me. Bit bummed I didn’t have a 40 point session today, but I’ll aim to make up for it in my next session.
